Text Message Terms
Effective date: October 21, 2026
This site is a demo for a fictional practice, Northbend Family Dental. It sends no text messages and makes no calls. These terms show the wording a real practice would use for the optional call-or-text box on the booking, insurance and callback forms.
What the messages would be
Texts and calls would be about the request you made on the form: confirming your appointment time, a reminder the day before, and the answer to an insurance check. They never include details of your dental care or your insurance in the message itself. They would not be advertising.
Your consent is optional
Consent is not a condition of treatment or of any purchase. The box on the form is never pre-checked. If you leave it empty, the form still works, and the practice would reply by email instead.
By checking the box, you would agree that the practice may call or text you at the number you provided, including with automated technology, about your request.
Frequency and cost
The number of messages depends on your request, usually two or three per appointment. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call (704) 555-0129 (demo number). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number and your privacy
A real practice would not sell your mobile number or share it with third parties for their own marketing. How this site handles information is described in the Privacy Policy.
